Welcome to The Shipston Excelsior FC Website

Football Club Dinner - Friday 9th May 2008
There will be two bus runs from outside The Bear at 6:15pm and 6:45pm so everyone can be in place by 7:15pm for food at 7:30pm. There will be a Pork and Beef Carvery with a Vegetarian option for those who have already specified it. Hopefully all the speeches will be done by around 9:30pm with the Disco taking over until Midnight. The two bus runs back will be at Midnight and at 12:30am. Don;t forget your club ties!!

Clubman of the Month
This new award will be handed out to recognise effort or achievement of an individual associated with the club. The Chairman will select the winner each month and present them with a small token of the club's appreciation. Click here to see April's winner.

Adam Millership (The Mighty Cone) and 7 of his chums are doing a charity walk in aid of Rosie Hince (Budha's daughter) who is suffering from a rare form of cancer. They will be walking the 97 miles along the West Highland Way over the course of 5 days and are looking for a bit of sponsorship from the generous players, supporters and coaching staff at SEFC. Contact Adam if you would like to sponsor him - he looks a bit like me but more pointy.

The inaugural Pearl Motor Yachts Golf Day in aid of SEFC is well on the way to being fully subscribed and already has a host of sponsors. Click here to check out the companies and organisations who have so far pledged their support (and hard earned cash). If you are interested in entering a team or sponsoring the event then please contact Neil Harper.

Hospital Cup Challenge Match
Congratulations to the Presidents XI who narrowly scraped past the scratch Hospital side by 4 goals to 3 - Danny Hill, Farah and a Danny Lowes own goal on the sheet for the Hospital and some lad called Shurmer may have scored all four for the Presidents XI (I wasn't marking him). A good time was had by all and a bit of cash was raised for the League of Friends. A few pictures will appear here shortly.

Click on the Reserves' page to see the new team photo - it's a terrible afront to quality team photos everywhere but at least it is up to date!!

Sports Club Subs were due last September so it's fair to say that we've all had a reasonable amount of time to pay! The money needs to be collected in over the next month - £30 for most of us. The same goes for any outstanding fines - if you've been booked or sent off then you owe the club money and failure to pay can result in a ban but let's not let it get to that. Lists of who owes what will be posted shortly and you will be chased up over the next couple of weeks
